My passion has led me in surprising directions.  Years serving the challenging advertising community in NYC shifted dramatically after 9/11 to focusing on personal work I now recognize as the most important work I’ve ever done.  The stimulus for me is to engender an idea, see it take shape, often morphing into the unexpected; that and rubbing shoulders with those I’ve met and befriended. Sometimes I use myself as subject, humor is often key and someone’s usually on the move.  Mostly, my images are straightforward, but interpretations may vary.

I share a 19th Century farmhouse in Catskill, NY with my gracious wife Anne and son Kyle.

Please contact me directly for unframed archival pigment prints in various sizes, priced accordingly and quite reasonable.  Inquire at the contact page…and thank you!

BEFORE 2013:  During the few years immediately preceding my first show upstate, I spent some time writing as well as continuing my career as a photographer satisfying clients with my problem solving skills and finesse.  Now I’m ensconced in my life upstate where my work is as interesting and satisfying as ever.
