Ken at CCCA_crop

Ken Tannenbaum’s passion has led him in surprising directions.  Years serving the challenging advertising community in NYC shifted dramatically after 9/11 to focusing on personal work. Said he, “I recognize it’s the most important work I’ve ever done.  The stimulus is to engender an idea, see it take shape, often morphing into the unexpected. Sometimes I use myself as subject, humor is often key and someone’s usually on the move.  Mostly, my images are straightforward, but interpretations may vary.”

He lives in a 19th Century farmhouse in Catskill, NY with his gracious wife Anne.

Please contact me for unframed and framed archival pigment prints…and thank you for the visit.

BEFORE 2013:  During a transition period, the years preceding showing my work upstate, I spent time writing as well as continuing my career as a photographer enjoying an immensely satisfying collaboration with clients.  I’m grateful that now I’m ensconced in life upstate where my life and work is as satisfying as ever.  Lucky me.
